MEMBERSHIP
As
of January 04, 2005 PICE has about 59,345 combined regular and associate
members. There are 64 fellows, 3,934 life members and 1 honorary
member while there are more than 42,249 student members.

Student
Membership in the Institute is only through the Regular or Student
Chapters. However, Honorary Members do not belong to any Chapter
but to the Institute as a whole.
Responsibilities
of Our Members
1. Adherence to the Code of Ethics for Civil Engineers and provides
information to their respective Chapter Secretaries or the National
Administrative Officer of any infringement thereof by any Civil
Engineer that may come to their knowledge;
2. Active participation in the affairs of the Institute and of the
Chapter to which he belongs;
3. Regular payment of all fees, dues and other assessments as these
become due; and
4. Notification of the National Administrative Officer and his Chapter
Secretary of any change in his address, and/or of his membership
status.
Payment of Annual
Dues
Regular, Associate and Student members must keep their membership
status up-to-date by paying the dues and fees annually. ID cards
are issued annually.
Failing
to Maintain Active Status and Reactivation of Membership
Members who fails to pay the membership fees for more than 2
years are DROPPED from the rolls. Reinstatement can be done
after the payment of the reinstatement fee of PhP 200 and all back
dues.
Change
of Chapter Affiliation
In order to transfer to another chapter, a member must completely
accomplish the Change of Chapter Affiliation Form to be submitted
to the National Administrative Office. A clearance will be issued
by the National Administrative Officer after the usual procedure
of:
1. Clearing of back
accounts with the previous chapter and approval of the Chapter President
2. Payment of current membership dues
3. Endorsement by the National Administrative Officer |
