PICE and ASEP entered into a new Memorandum of Agreement with Office of Civil Defense - Disaster Quick Response Program (DQRP). The National Disaster Coordination Council (NDCC) was replaced by National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) by virtue of the new law RA 10121 - The Philippine Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Act of 2010, enacted on May 27, 2010.
 Disaster
Mitigation Adaptation Preparedness Strategies(DMAPS) - DMAPS is the expanded program of EQRP or
Earthquake Quick Response Program, a joint effort of the ASEP and the
OCD started in 2000. PICE being an association of
technology professionals has a volunteer groups in the
community levels through the chapters to help mitigate and prepare for
possible disasters, floods, landslides,
typhoons, volcanic eruptions and windstorms.
 Earthquake
Quick Response Program (EQRP) All Volunteers are requested to update
their EQRP Identification cards.
In times of emergency, volunteers will be called
upon to conduct rapid evaluation of structures to verify resulting damage, structural
integrity and vulnerability of existing buildings and vital structures,
especially those with high density occupancy.
