COMMITTEES
Article VII, Section 1 of the PICE Amended By-laws
Formation of National Committees – To attain the objectives
of the Institute and assist in undertaking its activities, the
Board of Directors shall have the authority to create standing,
special or temporary ad-hoc committees and to define their respective
powers, prerogatives, functions, duties, and responsibilities.
Such committee shall submit periodic reports to the Board but
special or ad-hoc committees may be required to submit special
reports to the President.
Until otherwise provided,
the standing committees enumerated in this Article are hereby established.
These standing committees shall have four (4) regular members to
be appointed by the Board to be chosen from among qualified members
of good standing; provided that the initial set of members shall
have a staggered tenure; Two (2) for two (2) years and the other
two (2) for four (4) years. Henceforth, the succeeding members shall
be appointed for a term of four (4) years. Additional standing committees
may be created by the Board as needed.
